Update - June 2006 Manual on Doors & Windows CPWD is supporting CCPS on the Doors and Windows project. Based on the survey report conducted by CCPS, CPWD released a manual on Doors and Windows for residential buildings. The program was on Thursday 1st June 2006, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Professionals within the construction industry attended the release function. The notification that CPWD has accepted CCPS standards is posted on the web. Coverage CCPS press conference and announcement of D&W initiative was featured on CNBC Awaz – Prime property program. The program also got coverage in money control journal. The 2nd editorial advisory board meet for CCPS annual publication “Construction Products in India” was organized on 25th May to review the progress of the publication. Training Workshops “Selection of Appropriate Glass in Buildings” one of our most booming workshops is ready to move to the 3rd phase. In first phase over 1000 professionals were trained. We have covered many cities in 1st and 2nd phase. The 3rd phase will start at Bangalore on 8th July. Website CCPS is launching its website by the end of June. One of the most successful training programs conducted by CCPS is the Glass Training workshop. CCPS organizes the training program to train architects, builders, contractors, facility managers and others on Selection of Appropriate Glass in Modern Buildings, with the support of AIS Glass Solutions Limited.
