CCPS 4TH PUBLICATION “Construction Products in India”:

The much awaited CCPS 4th publication- Construction products in India is now published. The Publication enlists new and existing construction products with their technical specifications, usages and manufacturers in India. We would like to thank all our members and non-members for sponsoring advertisement in the publication.

The Glass & Glazing Project:

The project consists of writing a code of good practices for safety glass in India.
The first meeting of the Governing Committee, responsible for writing/ guiding the code that CCPS is planning to have in place, was held at New Delhi on 16th of April 2007. In the meeting, the methods for increasing the public accessibility of the proposed report were discussed and suggestions were given.

CCPS & 3M workshop on Passive Fire Protection:

CCPS is organizing a training program on passive fire protection in association with 3M India Ltd. Passive Fire Protection is an all encompassing fire safety concept which embraces the passive measures in fire containment design and in addition augment the active measures. The program will be beneficial to all the architects, builders, engineers and all the professionals in the construction industry. The training program is on 21st April 2007 at Bangalore.

Zak Tiles & Sanitary ware Exhibition:

CCPS is majorly concentrating on gaining visibility for its members and itself by participating in various well organized exhibitions. One such exhibition is Zak Tiles, Sanitary ware International Exposition 2007 which was scheduled from March 9th to March 11th’ 2007 at Bombay Exbition Centre, NSE Complex, Goregaon, Mumbai.

Stone Artifact Promotion Project:

CCPS in association with Dronah is working on a prestigious project of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CRAFTS & DESIGN, Jaipur. This project speaks about- Promoting Rajasthan’s traditional stone crafts in modern construction. This initiative seeks to effectively bridge the gap by promoting traditional stone crafts that have employed for centuries in the architecture of Rajasthan region and re-establish their contemporary relevance.
