Activities Guidelines on use of glass in buildings: Human Safety The principal aim of CCPS – Glass and Glazing project is to prepare a Good Practice Guide that will provide a universally accepted method for selection and installation of glass in buildings that is safe and sound in relation to human safety. Keeping in view the above aim, Guidelines on use of glass in buildings – Human Safety was developed by CCPS through PPP mode by adopting the consensus approach in association with the central PWD, Indian Building Congress, Consulting Engineers Association of India and other stake holder across the country and abroad. These guidelines are made mandatory by Govt. Andhra Pradesh by issuing a GO no. M 205 and by CPWD by issuing an OM dated 4th Auguest 2009 |
